Lexpos Retailer Demo

Lexpos Retailer offer a demonstration version of their product for download so that you can assess its suitability for your business.

The software is limited in functionality. Compared to the full version of Lexpos Retailer it is programmed to be limited in the following ways:

• the local stock list only holds 20 items.
  The system comes with a full C&D listing of 80,000 products, but will only remember the prices and stock levels for 20 of them.

• only three purchase orders may be transmitted.
  The system stores the details of every purchase order you create during the lifetime of the till and you can create as many as you like with the demo version. The limitation is how many may be transmitted electronically. Our test pharmacies use at most three suppliers, so the demo version was limited to being able to transmit to three suppliers, so that you can test the electronic ordering. For this to succeed, your computer will need to have a modem connected to a phone line.

• C&D / wholesaler updates are not possible
  Every week, Lexpos Retailer releases the amendments to the C&D price list in the form of an update on this website. The demonstration version of the software is incapable of importing the C&D data, though it will display the screen where you would perform the update. In a similar fashion, the major wholesalers release product information files approximately once a month. The demo version will not import data from these files either.

IT IS RECOMMENDED that you choose SAVE. Save the file somewhere easy to
locate, e.g. the Desktop. When the file has downloaded completely, double click it
and follow the on-screen instructions
